Bette Paris Mohr has worked in pastel, oil and acrylic but the spontaneity and freshness of watercolor has won her over. "Watercolor is the most exciting and exasperating medium of all. Keeping the beautiful transparency and at the same time developing value changes in your composition can be a challenge."

Bette studied at the Boston Museum of Fine Art and Massachusetts Art School. She is an associate member of the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society, and an active member of Allied Artists West and Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society.
